About · The argument, and the demonstration

Someone has to own
the seams.

Work dies in the handoffs between teams, not inside them. I run the whole chain, or I join yours and own the part that is breaking.

Where the eye comes from

Before any of this, I spent hours in a darkroom watching prints come up in the tray. That is where I learned that a photograph is a set of decisions and not a lucky moment.

My degree is in photographic communication and journalism from the Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, and in practice that meant composition, printing, color, Photoshop, and long arguments about why one crop works and the next one does not. Journalism sat right next to it, and the two turned out to be one discipline: decide what matters, cut the rest, respect the person on the other end.

Nobody puts that half on a services page. But a site can rank and still look cheap, and then it loses the client anyway. I can tell you why a layout feels expensive, and I can build it, because I learned to look before I learned to optimize.

What travels and what does not

I have lived in Spain for seven years and in Milan for close to a year. Long enough in both to stop being a visitor and start having to live by rules nobody writes down.

That is an education you cannot buy. You learn that people are not a market segment, that humor does not survive translation, and that whatever a country assumes goes without saying is exactly the thing you will get wrong.

I like this part. Not the airports. The people, the food, the way a city decides what beautiful means. It is also the most useful thing I own professionally, because it is what stops me from shipping five translated versions of one strategy and calling it international SEO.

Markets differ in what worries people before they buy, and in what they type because of it. Vocabulary is the smallest part.

What I look for first

When I open a site for the first time, I do not start with the rankings. I look at it the way a stranger would, for a few seconds, and ask what would make them stay. Then I go looking for the reason they do not.

Sometimes it is the search work and nobody can find the page at all. More often it is everything after that. A layout that looks like a template. An opening line that says nothing. A page that loads slowly enough to lose the argument before it starts.

I notice all of those because I have built all of them. Not read about them. Built them.

What working with me looks like

The habits below come from the same place as everything above. I like holding the whole picture, and I do not like handing people something they cannot use without me.

  1. One conversation to start. Not a discovery phase. Tell me in three sentences what is stuck, and I will tell you whether I am the right person for it.
  2. A plan you could hand to someone else. If it only works while I am in the room, it is not a plan. It is a dependency, and I do not want to sell you one.
  3. The work, by the person you talked to. Design, copy, build, schema and search. No brief passed to a subcontractor you never meet.
  4. Numbers you can check. Monthly, in plain language, against what we agreed at the start. If something is not working, I would rather say it early.
“My site was built with real thought, down to the smallest details, and not only the details of the business. She wanted to understand what mattered to me as the owner: the goals, the direction, and the vision I have for the business.”

What I am not

I am not an agency, and I am not cheaper than one. I take a small number of engagements at a time, because this only works if one person can hold the whole thing in their head, and I would rather do that properly for a few clients than halfway for many.

That person can be me running everything, or me inside your team owning the chain end to end. What does not work is five vendors and nobody accountable for the result.

And if what you need is twelve people on a project next month, I am the wrong call. I will say so in the first reply instead of taking the meeting.

Who I work with

Global tech companies, AI startups, investment funds and agritech. Construction and pool companies in the United States. Law firms in Canada. An international iGaming brand across six markets at once, from Scandinavia to Latin America.

The range is not a strategy. It is what happens when the work is good and people talk.
